Organized chaos of doodads on my wall. Ribbon, buttons, eyelets, tags, scraps, paper flowers, glitter (oh, yeah!), did I say ribbon? I get dreamy just peaking over at them during the day—oh, how I long for more time to play with my doodads. At least for now they provide inspiration and a constant reminder of how much I love to create. Thanks dear doodads.
Growing up, I always said "I want to be an artist when I grow up." Well, here I am now still wishing for the same. Child at heart, I'm giddy at the thought of dipping a new brush in a pot of paint, sniffing a fresh box of crayolas, cutting, pasting, letting the pencil flow with every beat of my heart.
This is just a glimpse of some of the things that make me zing. As I watch my daughter take note of every extraordinary detail in life, I am inspired to do the same. I hope this blog inspires you to find those things in life that make you zing...
